Our Story
Diane has been working in greenhouses for over 20 years. She has always had a love for plants and greenery. It wasn't until December of 2020 that she finally got her first greenhouse on the farm. The greenhouse opened in the spring of 2021. Before opening her greenhouses, Diane worked at Don's greenhouse until they retired. You can still find Diane at Appleland in the fall months. These jobs have helped her learn how to care for plants and be successful within her greenhouses. Diane also served as a Co-organization leader for Holy Cross 4-H for 30 years, as well as working on many county 4-H boards.

Our staff works hard to make sure that your Hamm's Farmstead Greenhouse experience is perfect. Diane luckily has amazing sisters and a wonderful daughter who helps her out in the greenhouse frequently. Pictured below from left to right are Mary (sister), Paula (sister), Sue (sister), Joanne (sister), Diane (owner), and Heather (daughter). Others include Diane's husband Don, many nieces and nephews, and lots of community support from friendships she has made throughout the years. Many people are there to help you learn more about plants and give you an amazing time at the greenhouses.
